A complete solution for upper secondary school

With visual tracking tools and a dynamic platform, Meitner can support all upper secondary schools, whether they operate distance learning, boarding programs, or traditional on-site education.

Curve

School administration right alongside your learning platform.

The administration section in Meitner’s school platform is designed to complement the learning platform with administrative processes. Here you’ll find registers of students, staff, and guardians, along with all classes, groups, halls, rooms, and equipment with booking rules. Courses and programs offered at the school are set up here, and students can be linked to them. Student grades and study plans can be maintained through this system. All mandatory reporting to authorities is also carried out through the platform’s admin panel.

Attendance management with CSN reporting

Teachers can record attendance in the platform and mark both absences and late arrivals for each lesson. When a student is absent, both a notification and SMS is sent to the student and the guardian with the information. Attendance is easily visible to the mentor, the student health team, and the principal on individual, group, and class levels. This gives the school a quick overview of students who are not attending lessons, allowing them to be identified as early as possible. In the end, Meitner generates a complete report for CSN based on the recorded attendance.

Collect and work within courses in Meitner’s workspaces

Meitner’s workspaces consist of a group of students and a subject. Here you’ll find the planning tool, assignments, assessments, core content, and grading criteria from the National Agency for Education’s curriculum. The teacher can gather all teaching materials in the workspace and follow students’ work in real time. Teachers can also reuse material between different workspaces and carry out cross-subject projects. Guardians also have access to follow their children’s work. Meitner’s workspaces have seamless integration with Google Drive.

Grading and follow-up.

The material from assessments carried out in the workspaces and on individual tasks is later used in parent-teacher meetings and ultimately for grading. It’s a straightforward process that moves from planning to execution and, in the end, follow-up. When grading, teachers can enter and submit grades securely through two-factor authentication or password, after which they are approved by the principal. Grade documents are signed  and exported into grade catalogues.
